When shopping for a credit card there are so many options it can almost be overwhelming.
Do you want the card with the lowest interest rate because you plan on incurring some longer term debt or do you want a credit card with rewards because you will use it instead of cash for everything: gas for your car, food, tickets to the movie theater, clothes at the mall and so on.
How about a student credit card for your college-age son or maybe he’s not that fiscally responsible nowadays so you’d rather purchase a prepaid debit card for him to use for his necessities away from home?
There are so many options out there once you decide what you are truly looking for. For me, right now I am interested in the lowest interest rate credit card that also offers airline miles for purchases.
My parents live far away and our family of four goes to visit them at least once a year. Four airline tickets add up fast, so anything I can do to cut down on that cost is helpful. I especially love that just by paying for the regular items I purchase, such as groceries, I am racking up miles for my annual vacation.
It is nice to think of their warm sunny house when I am bundled up in artic weather buying milk and eggs.
